With wedding season well and truly delayed due to Covid-19 we decided to give the website a revamp. This is something that has been on the cards for a while and with all this extra time on our hands we really had no excuses but to get stuck in and go for it! We liked our original site and didn't want to move away from the general design as it really reflected the brand perfectly. The aim was to update images, refine key services and make those services easier to access for customers.
This began with the creation of dedicated weddings header that includes our wedding enquiry form as a drop down option for easier access. Our wedding portfolio was also updated with some new images, we have worked with some amazing photographers and always credit their images and include links to their websites. We decided to keep the number of images limited to a select few which we will update occasionally. Social media steps in here to share what we are working on, giving day to day accounts of our wedding work.
Next we started work on our other services section titled "Flowers". This section consists of the other floral services we provide which include sympathy/funeral, corporate/business and gifting. Giving each service a dedicated page allows us to demonstrate what we offer and how to enquire about these.
Sympathy arrangements aren't featured on our social media pages as we feel these are extremely personal pieces and we endeavour to take into consideration the sensitive nature and circumstances in which these arrangements are required. However as we do offer sympathy and funeral flowers we want to make this clear on our site. On this page there is a brief description of what we offer plus how to get in touch, we have also added a handy enquiry form to make ordering these even more simple. Of course we are always happy to answer phone enquiries too.
Corporate flowers is an exciting service that we offer. This can include anything from hotels, shops, branding work and events. Enquires for this service are dealt with in a bespoke case by case service so each business receives exactly what they require.
Our most popular service after wedding flowers is gift bouquets. We love creating gift bouquets, there is something magic about playing a part in one person showing their appreciation to another. From the initial enquiry, hearing about the recipients favourite colours and flowers, handwriting the message to finally delivering the bouquet and seeing the joyful surprise on their face, we really do love it all. And finally after lots of planning we have added our shop. This is currently undergoing finishing touches and we hope to go live with online orders very soon! There will be a mixture of fresh and dried flowers on offer and we are so excited to share more updates when we can!
